Plant Dyed Fibers
The following items have been dyed with the beautiful historic dye stuffs of indigo, osage
orange, cochineal, madder, goldenrod, butternut, cutch, brazilwood, and logwood. Single color
items are available in the following colors: light blue, medium blue, light
purple, medium purple, logwood purple, medium
red, light pink, medium pink, light
peach, medium peach, light yellow, medium
yellow, light green, medium green, light
brown, medium brown, light gray & medium
gray.
Other colors may be available, call if you would like a different color or for current color
selection. Due to the nature of the dye process, color variations occur. The effect of the natural
dyes on the wool felt and yarn often give the item a "lazured" look.
